Director
June K. Maranville, MSP, CCC-SLP, MIMC
Director of PLSC, June holds an undergraduate degree from Columbia College in Speech Correction and a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from The University of South Carolina. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the South Carolina Speech Language Hearing Association (SCSHA). June is also Interactive Metronome Certified (MIMC) and a credentialed supervisor for undergraduate and graduate students. June has 17 years experience as a speech language pathologist, working with children and adults of all ages. She has served clients with a wide range of special needs with particular interest in the following areas: early language intervention, augmentative/alternative communication systems, autism, down syndrome, aphasia/stroke, traumatic brain injury, apraxia and articulation/phonology speech therapy.
June believes very strongly in advocating for children and adults with communication challenges and has served on various boards and committees in order to promote quality services and be a "voice" for people with special needs as appropriate.

Alice Anne G. Farley, MEd., CCC/SLP, BRS/FD
Alice Anne G. Farley is a licensed speech pathologist and a Board Recognized Fluency Specialist. She currently serves as mentor and consultant to PLSC. She has been a member of the faculties of the Ohio State University, Mercer University, Columbia College and the University of South Carolina. A past president of the SC Speech & Hearing Association, Alice Anne is the author of Color Me Fluent (Super Duper Publications), a complete treatment program for adults and children who stutter. Alice Anne has been in private practice for many years, and has also held positions as rehab manager, clinic director and regional/area supervisor for various speech and hearing venues. www.colormefluent.com
Katie P. Cate, MSP, CCC-SLP, IMC
Katie P. Cate is a licensed speech language pathologist who has been in private practice serving children and adults in the Columbia area for 17 years. She holds an undergraduate degree from Columbia College in Speech Correction and a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from The University of South Carolina. She has a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the South Carolina Speech Language Hearing Association (SCSHA). Katie is also Interactive Metronome Certified and a credentialed supervisor for undergraduate and graduate students. She enjoys serving clients in the areas of early language intervention, articulation/phonological disorders, fluency disorders and language learning disorders. Katie believes in an eclectic approach to treatment and likes to work closely with families and other team members.
Samantha M. Reed, MS, CCC-SLP 
Samantha M. Reed is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist. She earned her undergraduate degree with honors from Winthrop University in General Communication Disorders and holds a Masters Degree with honors from the Medical University of South Carolina in Rehabilitation Sciences with an emphasis in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has gained knowledge in a wide variety of clinical settings including the school district, rehabilitation hospital, acute care tracheostomy and ventilator dependent patients, a skilled nursing facility and pediatric rehabilitation. She enjoys working with children in the areas of language intervention, articulation/phonological disorders, and feeding/swallowing difficulties.
Suzy Carver
Suzy Carver joined Palmetto Language and Speech Center as the Billing Specialist in November, 2007. She brings 15 years of experience in office administration. She is a graduate of Katharine Gibbs School in New York.
Danielle Johnson
Danielle Johnson is a student of speech language pathology and provides administrative support to the Palmetto Language and Speech Center.
